The Quinta da Marinha Golf Course
The Quinta da Marinha Golf Course was designed by the legendary architect Robert Trent Jones. This parkland type course extends some 5,870 metres and lies between Cascais and Cabo da Roca. The eighteen hole, par 71 course, combines the challenge of a course created by a specialist architect with the beautiful surrounding scenery.
The Atlantic Ocean and the Mountain of Sintra range encompassing the course that is as much a moment of pleasure and tranquillity as it is an unforgettable experience for the golfer. Near the first and tenth holes, they have a practice area surrounded by pine trees, which provides tranquillity and helps relax golfers ahead of their round.
In 2007, The Lisbon Golf Coast area won the IAGO Prize - Best Established Golfing Destination Europe. The course has also hosted some prestigious events like the PGA Challenge Tour and the PGA Seniors Tour Championship.
